One interesting aspect of his role in the film was the need for quick costume changes.There’s a scene in ‘Jawaan’ where Shah Rukh’s character, a father, and his character as a son share an emotional hug.Prashant had to step in and wear the son’s costume for close-up shots when hugging Shah Rukh in his father’s character.Then, he would switch to the father’s costume when Shah Rukh was in his son’s character.
This meant he had to portray two different looks on the same day.
Despite his role as a body double, Prashant Walde is compensated well for his work.He earns up to Rs.30,000 per day, which adds up to approximately Rs.9 lakhs per month.Considering the time it takes to complete all his scenes in the film, it’s estimated that he received a total remuneration of Rs.30-40 lakhs for his work on ‘Jawaan.’
