Mumbai 5 August : Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan has said that he would like to make improvements to his movies ‘Mela’ as well as Thugs Of Hindostan’ which didn’t do well at the box-office on ‘Koffee With Karan’.During the famous rapid-fire round in the show, director Karan Johar asked Aamir, which of these films would he would like to remake or make improvements to.
He then gave three choices for ‘Mela’, ‘Mangal Panday and the ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’.
Aamir replied: Aamir said: “‘Mela and “Thugs Of Hindostan’.Maybe we didn’t achieve what we wanted to.I’d like to rectify these two.”
“Mela” was released in 2000.It also features Twinkle Khanna as well as Aamir’s brother Faisal Khan.
The film was a failure at the box office.
However, the film ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ which came out in 2018 was a period-set adventure film that starred Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif and Fatima Sana Sheikh.
The film ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ set during the time of Company rule in India The film follows an unassuming character who hails from Awadh, Firangi Mallah, who is commissioned by an East India Company official to take on and defeat a group of thugs.
In the show, Aamir also shared his list of directors.
He declared that he would like to work with Rajamouli as well as Sooraj Barjatya.
