Nairobi 9th August : Kenyans are voting on Tuesday to choose a President and a new Parliament with approximately 22 million eligible to vote in an election that was fought for with great intensity.
The polls for the pre-election placed opposition leader and former premier Raila Odinga just a bit ahead of William Ruto, who was Vice President to the outgoing Uhuru Kenyatta who was the President of Kenyatta’s East African country for the last 10 years, as reported by the DPA news agency.

Odinga is running for president for the fifth time , and has a campaign on an anti-corruption platform.
