“I have requested the Minister Subhash Garg to take up the issue.Be aware of the state of roads in at the very least the district of the Chief Minister because potholes in Jodhpur could send an untrue message.” Gehlot was speaking at the foundation-laying-inauguration ceremony of development works in Jodhpur on Tuesday.

“Many employees in JDA, the Municipal Corporation, JDA, are residents of the area. They should be able to feel for the city more because it is the place they are from.

Since they’re getting to work in their area, should they not also be working towards the poor gaining their rights? he asked.

In fact, the majority of the roads in the city are clogged with potholes that have formed after the rains.

Even though the rains seem to have been halted but the roads are damaged with no authorities taking the initiative to repair them.

During the visit of the chief minister, he was ferried on helicopters to launch the Rural Olympic Games on Monday.

On Tuesday Gehlot was able to take stock of the state of the roads as he traveled to Van Mahotsav.

In the meantime the chief minister Gehlot was questioned as he was heading to Delhi to be the President of the National Congress of Congress.

The Rajasthan chief minister smiled and walked away without being asked.
