She expressed her desire for the younger generation to be aware of the dark side of the film industry.
Raajputh emphasized the need to address the issue of casting couch in the television industry as well.
Although she did not speak about her personal experience during the #MeToo movement, she revealed that she receives numerous personal emails from young viewers on her YouTube channel, seeking guidance.
The 36-year-old actor stressed the importance of the younger generation being informed about the truth and not succumbing to desperation.
She also highlighted that not everyone in the film fraternity is involved in such practices, emphasizing the need to distinguish between individuals.Recounting her own distressing encounter with the casting couch, Raajputh shared that she attended an audition at a hotel in Oshiwara, where she noticed several well-known actors.
According to her, the audition went well, even though the director was absent.A coordinator at a lower level praised her performance and expressed confidence in her abilities.
However, she became suspicious when they repeatedly insisted that she should have a cold drink.Raajputh sensed that something was amiss and felt that whatever was supposed to happen had already taken place.
She then encountered a man outside who scolded her, assuming she had come with her boyfriend.She clarified that her brother had accompanied her.After consuming the cold drink, she started feeling out of control despite being conscious.Apologizing, she hastily left the location.
