Mumbai 28 August : “Pavitra” actress Kanishka Soni has recently became the talk of the town with her announcement of getting married and sharing photos with mangalsutra and areoor.The actress has posted on her Instagram handle to request justice in the cases of Sonali Phogat as well as the late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala and actor , Sushant Singh Rajput.
In the video she discusses joining the Ramdas Athawale’s political group in 2020.She also talks about seeking justice in her political and actor community in India.
She states that in our society, married women are viewed with respect, and this is just one of the reasons she was married to her husband.
Kanishka stated: “Even if I am not in India If anything wrong is happening, particularly in the entertainment industry, it’s my duty to raise my voice.”
“I discovered through my friends and on social media outlets that Sonali Phogat, an politician, Tik Tok star and was also a part of ‘BiggBoss was killed and raped by a person.I am devastated and pray for tranquility of Sonali’s soul.But this is why I’ve taken this step because of the kind of men are close to each other many times, hurts the victim and in fact, could kill you.”
The actress added: “That is why I put on the mangalsutra and apply the aresoor because people are viewed with respect to married women.I’ve done this to protect myself, but there is no assurance.”
“In fact, in the last few days, Sidhu Moosewala was killed and I’m asking Indian government why they don’t have strict laws as in other countries that create fears in the minds of criminals? What is the reason why the life of artists isn’t safe in the country? Why aren’t people speaking up.”
“We have witnessed in the case of Sushant Singh Rajput, who was killed just prior to this.We know he is not able to commit suicide because he was a highly driven person.I want justice for the three artists-Sonali Phogat, Sidhu Moosewala and Sushant Singh Rajput.”
