Recently, a case has been registered against TDP leader and former minister Devineni Uma at the Mylavaram police station in the Krishna district.

Police have registered cases against Devineni Uma and 13 others for violating Covid rules.On the 16th of this month, Devineni Uma inspected government housing sites in Ayyappa Nagar, Myalavaram.

As per the reports, on the same day, a man named Penuboina Rambabu complained that Devineni Uma had carried out activities like visiting with a huge group and violated the covid rules.Based on his complaint, the police have registered a case against Devineni Uma.Mylavaram SI, who is investigating the case, said that a case has been registered against Devineni Uma under Section 188 of IPC of EDA.

On the 16th of this month, Devineni Uma demanded that the government should immediately announce financial assistance of Rs 10,000 to each family with a white ration card.They handed over the petitions with demands to the Tahsildar.
