Hyderabad 02nd May 2022: Radiant Appliances and Electronics today announced the inauguration of its state-of-art manufacturing unit in Hyderabad in presence of Shri.K.T.Rama Rao (Hon’ble Minister for MA and UD, Industries, Commerce, and IT), Honour Smt.Sabitha Indra Reddy (Hon’ble Minister of Education) & Shri.Jayesh Ranjan (IAS Principal Secretary for (I&C), IT, Commerce) of Government of Telangana, Mr.E.V.Narsimha Reddy, VC & MD, TSIIC, and Mr, Sujai Karmapuri, Director Electronics & CEO T-Fibre, along with Mr.Raminder Singh Soin, Managing Director of Radiant Appliances & Electronics & Mr.Manikandan Narasimhan, Director, Radiant Appliance.
Radiant Appliances, expanded its production capacity from 2.1 million units per annum to 4.5 million units with the addition of the new plant.Radiant Appliances with its state-of-art manufacturing unit in Hyderabad, with international standards of quality and manufacturing process, and skilled man power of 3800, has achieved the fastest milestone of producing more than 5 million LED TVs in shortest span of 2 years, despite the supply chain challenges due to the pandemic.
Mr.K.T.Rama Rao, Honorable Minister of IT & Urban Development, Chief Guest, inaugurating the New Plant of Radiant Appliances & Electronics with an investment of Rs.100 cores, and additional employment for 1000 people, remarked that “Radiant has been the front runner in Electronics manufacturing in Telangana, and has emerged as one of the leaders in electronics manufacturing.I congratulate the Radiant team for achieving production of more than 5 million LED TVs in a short span.With new capacity expansion, I am sure Radiant will achieve new milestones to come, and continue to generate more employment, besides strengthening the manufacturing eco-system in Telangana”.
Sharing his vision for promotion of the manufacturing industry in Telangana, the Minister expanded that “Telangana is the most industry friendly state, and would be encouraging the manufacturing industry in all product categories, from electronics to electric vehicles.Besides the best infrastructure, Telangana state has a huge availability of young skilled manpower.”
Radiant Appliances & Electronics, Hyderabad, in technical collaboration with Skyworth is one of the largest OEMs in LED TV manufacturing in India.By catering to more than 15 well known Indian and MNC brands, Radiant Appliances meets 25% of all India market demand.
Mr.Jayesh Ranjan, IAS Principal Secretary for (I&C), IT, Commerce) of Government of Telangana, remarked that “Government of Telangana has been promoting the local manufacturing of electronics and Radiant Appliances & Electronics have emerged as one of the most successful electronics manufacturing in Telangana, and I would like to see Radiant Appliances entering into the manufacturing of other products soon to make Telangana as manufacturing hub for electronics and appliances.”
Mr.Manikandan Narasimhan, Director, Radiant Appliance, speaking on the occasion remarked that “Radiant Appliances have been consistently achieving new milestones in the electronics manufacturing sector.
Industry friendly environment, support and encouragement of the government has contributed immensely to our success”.
Mr.Raminder Singh Soin, Managing Director of Radiant Appliances & Electronics, remarked that “with the capacity expansion by inaugurating new plant for manufacturing, we shall be emerging as no.1 in LED TV manufacturing in near future.Radiant appliances has been constantly working on indigenization and working closely with local vendors for developing robust eco-system for strengthening and promoting the ancillaries.We aim to provide substantial local employment by adding new manufacturing units in Large Appliances category in time near future”
