Alkesh Kumar Sharma, Secretary MeitY is charged with the additional responsibility of Secretary, DoT

New Delhi, Aug 31 : Alkesh Kumar Sharma Secretary of the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY) was on Wednesday appointed an additional charge of the position of Secretary of the Department of Telecommunications.
In the same way, Anjali Bhawra, lAS Secretary of the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities is given the additional responsibility of the position of Secretary for the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment.

“The Competent Authority has approved the assignment of additional responsibility of the position of Secretary of the Department of Telecommunications to AAlkesh Kumar Sharma, LAS (KL:1990) Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology from 01.09.2022 until 11.09.2022 during the time of absence due to leave of K.Rajaraman, LAS (TN:1989),” read an order from DoPT.

Concerning the additional cost to Anjali Bhawra In relation to additional charge to Anjali Bhawra, the DoPT order read: “The Competent Authority has given its approval to the assignment of an additional charges of the position of Secretary in the Department of Social Justice & Empowerment to AAnjali Bhawra, LAS (PB:1988) Secretary, Department of empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan) after the retirement of R.Subrahmanyam, LAS (AP:1985) at 31.08.2022 and until the appointment of an incumbent who is a regular employee or until further ordersare issued, whichever comes earlier.”

In the same way, an additional charge of the position of Secretary of the Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare is assigned to Ajay Kumar, LAS (KL:1985) Secretary, Department of Defence.
