New Delhi, Aug 22 : Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has claimed on Monday that he received a call from the BJP offering to “close all criminal cases against him” in the event that he quits the AAP and joined the saffron-colored party instead.In tweets in Hindi, he said that he would rather be executed instead of joining the BJP.
“I am receiving a message from the BJP — leave the AAP and join the BJP.We’ll make sure that all investigations that are brought by CBI as well as ED against you will be closed.My response to the BJP I’m a descendant of Maharana Pratap who was an Indian Rajput.I will shave off my head but I will not bow to the corrupt and their conspirators.
All of the allegations against me are bogus.Do whatever you want,” he said.
Sisodia as well as Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal are visiting Gujarat’s Himmatnagar on Monday, and Bhavnagar on Tuesday where they’ll be discussing the Delhi model of education hospitals, mohalla clinics.
The AAP will also showcase Sisodia’s previous work to the general public in Gujarat.
Sisodia’s claim is made following the Central Bureau of Investigation raided his residence on the 19th of August in connection with the irregularities in the Delhi Excise Policy 2021-22.
However the AAP has denied all claims in the policy, and called it the number one policy of the country.
The opposition party claims they are motivated by politics.
