New Delhi, Aug 22 : A group of Sikhs will meet with the Ministry of External Affairs on Monday and deliver an official statement with regards to kidnapping and forced conversion of an Sikh teacher Deena Kaur in Pakistan.At the time of the conference, the group will also be expected to discuss the issue of the violation of the rights of human beings of minority groups in the country that is adjacent.
According to report that an female instructor from the Sikh community in Paksitan’s KPK was reported to have been kidnapped, and forced to marry an Muslim on a Saturday.
The family was informed of the wedding and her re-conversion to Islam the following day, causing an outrage among members of the Sikh community.
Despite contacting the police the family’s complaint wasn’t accepted by the police.
