After ticket distribution in Uttarakhand, BJP convinces aspirants not to rebel

New Delhi, December 29, : , In order to prevent any rebellion following ticket distribution in Uttarakhand’s Assembly elections next year, the state unit BJP began identifying and convincing these leaders so that the party can win.
It has been requested that the Assembly poll in-charges for the party in Uttarakhand prepare a list and present it to the state leadership.

According to sources, the BJP leadership of Uttarakhand realized that certain aspirants would raise their voice if denied tickets.To avoid this, it is important that they be convinced and approached well in advance.

Sources said that “The Assembly in charges were asked to compile a list such leaders in order for the state leadership to approach all the strong contenders in Uttarakhand for ticket to persuade them to not be upset about denial of ticket”

Uttarakhand BJP already persuades its leaders to get the, regardless of their ticket.

Senior leaders are already approaching the top contenders to explain the ticket distribution process, the criteria used by Central leadership during finalization of candidature and how they will be able to help them.

A party leader stated that the party was bigger than any individual and all must work together to achieve it.

A BJP leader stated that even though they worked hard for their party over many years, it was human nature to get angry if one is denied an election ticket.

Only one person can get an Assembly ticket for each seat.There are strong candidates for each seat in our party.

He said that the ticket will be given to the person who meets all criteria for winnability.

A BJP leader stated further that not all those denied tickets would get upset, and some will file their protest.

Senior leaders can convince them that denials of tickets do not signify the end of their political careers.We all need to continue working for the party.

He stated that our only goal is to maintain the development of the state in the BJP regime.To achieve this we must all continue working for the party.

Along with Uttar Pradesh and Manipur, the elections to the 70-member Uttarakhand Assembly are scheduled for February-March 2019.

The BJP set a goal to win more than 60 Uttarakhand seats.

The BJP won 57 of the 58 seats in the 2017 Assembly elections.
