Los Angeles, Aug 22 : English singer-songwriter Harry Styles who has been dominating the Instagram reels of the past few days with his “As It Was” track, recently performed the first of his fifteen shows at Madison Square Garden in New York City and etched the moment for ever in the minds of the crowd of around 20,000 people.
The former One Direction member made a single request of his fans while on the stage: “I ask only one extremely, very simple thing: I want you to have the most fun you possibly can,” he said, according to Billboard.

Then with smile as he was looking at the crowd of cheering fans thronging into Madison Square Garden, he exuded more excitement “I am challenging you to have as many fun as I have.”

According to Billboard the crowd at the venue did not need this reminder even before Styles appeared on stage, the crowd was performing on a strictly positive vibes basis.

The vibes kicked off with an appearance by Alternative R&B superstar Blood Orange, which saw the singer perform songs like ‘You’re not good Enough’ and ‘Time will Tell’ during a chilled-out set.

Billboard said that they would continue with the crowd singing along to songs from One Direction, Queen and even Frank Sinatra as they waited for Styles to perform on stage.
