People across Telangana are flocking to the ‘Indravelli Dalit tribal Dandora Sabha’ by the TPCC chief and Malkajgiri MP Revanth Reddy.TPCC President Revanth Reddy will be the chief guest for this ‘Indravellu Dalit Tribal Dandora Sabha’, which will begin this afternoon.
Against this backdrop, Revanth Reddy left for Indravelli from Gandhi Bhavan in Hyderabad as a rally.Initially, he will reach Gudihatnur and participate in the flag hoisting organized by the Youth Congress, after which he will reach Indravelli and pay homage at the Martyrs’ Stupa.
Later, Revanth reddy will address the gathering.The public meeting was set up on an area of about 18 acres.
Congress leaders estimate that one lakh Dalit Tribals would attend the meeting.
It resulted in heavy traffic jams in many areas of the Indravelli zone.
The meeting is being held as a counter to the ‘Dalit Bandhu scheme’ announced by the Telangana government for the welfare of Dalits.Opposition political parties in Telangana are of the view that CM KCR introduced the ‘Dalit Bandhu Scheme’ in the wake of Huzurabad by-polls.
BJP leader Etela Rajender initiated a walkathon in the wake of the by-polls.
