Mumbai 20 August : Actress Swastika Mukherjee who will play an mother in the”Criminal Justice,” a courtroom drama she says that playing characters like this helps her live a better life.This isn’t the first time she will be seen as mother figures, Swastika has earlier played mother figures in films like “Dil Bechara” which starred late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
The daughter of the late Bengali actor Santu Mukhopadhyay shares how her mother’s character closely matches her own.
“Whenever I play the role of motherhood, my life becomes simpler.The job gets easier due to the fact that the emotions and instincts are always present when you’re a mother in your own life, too,” Swastika said.
She stated: “The only thing required is a trigger, which the screenplay offers.In the show the children suffer from adversity as they are part of an unbalanced family, which is why it was essential for me to imagine the actors as children in my head.”
Pankaj Tripathi returns for the third season of “Criminal Justice” along with Shweta Basu Prasad Swastika Mukherjee Purab Kohli Aditya Gupta Deshna Dugad, and Gaurav Gera.
The show will be broadcast on Disney+ Hotstar on August 26.
