New Delhi, December 14, 2014 : .Video streaming giant Netflix announced new plans and lower prices in India.The mobile-only plan starts at Rs.149 per monthly.Netflix Mobile will cost Rs 149 per month, whereas Rs 499 was charged for basic plans for that period.Standard plans will now be available at Rs 499 per monthly
Premium plans are now Rs 649 per monthly.This is the most costly Netflix plan.The plan was previously available at Rs 799 per monthly.
We will offer a one-tier upgrade to existing Netflix members on the Mobile, Standard, or Basic plans at the same monthly cost as you currently pay for Netflix.The company stated in a statement that the next time you use Netflix you will get a notification to your device.
You can then choose to confirm upgrade or select any plan.
Netflix Mobile Plan supports either a tablet or a smartphone with 480p resolution.Standard plans support two devices simultaneously.The resolution is 1080p.

Premium Netflix plans include 4K resolution and access to the app on up to four devices simultaneously.
Netflix recently launched a new website called ‘Tudum’ with the aim to provide news, interviews, behind-the-scenes videos, bonus features and more.
The firm described the website as “a place to learn more about your Netflix interests”.
According to Netflix, users will be able to delve further into its content and use the website to find out if ‘Maid’ is based on a true story or whether the cast of ‘The Witcher’ has appeared on other shows.
