Moscow 10th September : Russian President Vladimir Putin declared that Russia is ready to give its fertilizers made of potash to countries in need. “Our producers, who are primarily the producers of fertilizers containing potash will transfer the fertilizers free of cost to developing countries which are in desperate in need of the fertilizers,” Putin said at an annual session of the Russian Security Council.
The President stated that he would like to work with the Russian Foreign Ministry to work on this issue, too, Xinhua news agency reported with reference to the Kremlin.
A large amount of Russian fertilizers have been accumulating in European ports as a result of sanctions, Putin added.
According to President Putin, Russia supplied 7 million tonnes of fertilizers to other countries between May and August, roughly half of these to nations in Asia, Africa, and Latin America.
