Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, a Canadian biotech company’s sonotice research, launched Nitric Oxide nasal Spray in the market on Wednesday to treat adults infected with Covid 19.This spray is said to be intended for adults who are at risk of serious illness if infected.
The drug was launched in India under the name ‘Fabispray’.Glenmark, a Mumbai-based company, has previously been approved by the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI) for the manufacture and sale of nitric oxide nasal spray.
Fabispray is designed to destroy the Kovid 19 virus inside the nose.However, it does not reach the lungs.

It has been shown to have anti-microbial properties with a direct antiviral effect on SARS CoV 2.

This spray is only available on prescription.
