Beirut, December 13, 2013 : .Three people were killed, and eight more injured in clashes at Burj al-Shamali Camp, Lebanon, between Fatah and the Islamic Resistance Movement.According to Xinhua, the clashes occurred on Sunday at the funeral for Hamas member Hamza Ibrahim Chahine who was killed in Friday’s blasts in refugee camp.
According to media reports, the explosions occurred because of a fire in the diesel storage tanks located close to a weapons depot.
However, Hamas announced in a statement on Saturday that the explosions were caused by an electrical fault leading to a fire at a warehouse containing a quantity of oxygen, gas, detergents and disinfectants used to fight against Covid-19.
