A statement to this effect has been issued.

He said the central budget of Rs 39 lakh crore was aimed at public welfare. He said that he had betrayed the state of Telangana.

He said the Center had not taken necessary steps in the latest budget to fulfill the guarantees given in the State Partition Act.The establishment of the International Arbitration Tribunal in Hyderabad has recently been co-founded by the Chief Justice of India.

He mentioned the Telangana Adivasi University in the budget and said that only Rs 43 crore has been allocated for the two states combined. He said there was also a lack of mention in the budget about the Khajipet coach factory.

He said the employment guarantee scheme had been cut by almost a quarter compared to the cost incurred last year.According to budget documents, Rs 98,000 crore has been spent under the scheme in the current financial year, down from just Rs 73,000 crore for the 2022-23 financial year.

Despite warnings from the International Health Organization that the Covid threat has not been eliminated worldwide, lack of funding for emergency services in the country is a matter of concern. He said that even though half of the country’s population is expected to live in urban areas by 2025, the lack of allocations in line with the Amrita scheme, which aims to provide urban infrastructure, and cuts in interest subsidies to the urban poor will clearly show the Centre’s reckless attitude towards the urban poor.

Economists say there is a possibility of additional growth, but the government is not prepared to increase allocations to the irrigation sector. It is great to say that we have increased the infrastructure sector by 30 per cent.

It is important to note that although the overall budget has increased by five per cent, the welfare expenditure has not increased to that extent. He said the CPI (M) Telangana state committee was calling for opposing the anti-democratic budget of the central government and protesting against the betrayal of the state.
