Los Angeles, Sep 2 : “Delhi Crime 2′ showrunner and director Tanuj Chopra speaks about how he and his team considered Delhi as an individual and chose locations that best fit the setting in the popular show.In announcing the behind-the-scenes information of “Delhi Criminal” Season 2 the Indo-American filmmaker revealed the various locations that were featured in the second season of the series.
“We explored a range of places throughout the city, including markets and bastis (slums) and flyovers, farms, and colonies.I wanted to go above and beyond the typical landmarks that we see in the movies on Delhi.”
He stated: “I wanted to feature places that aren’t often seen so that the impression of the city is real and authentic.We wanted to create the city of Delhi that is in line with the themes we’ve chosen, a dark, bustling city with residents living in diverse styles.”
Produced by SK Global Entertainment, Golden Karavan, Film Karavan, this season features a harrowing quadruple murder of seniors that must be solved by DCP Vartika and her team.
The Netflix series stars Shefali Shah, Rasika Dugal, Rajesh Tailang, Adil Hussain, Anurag Arora, Sidharth Bhardwaj and Gopal Dutt in important roles.
The series ‘Delhi crime 2 is based on a chapter titled ‘Moon Gazer’ in the book ‘Khaki Files written by Neeraj Kumar.
