Mumbai 27 August : Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar who is preparing to release of his streaming movie ‘Cuttputlli is famous for playing jokes on film sets, and keeping the crew members entertained while filming of his films.In one of these instances the director of “Cuttputlli” revealed how ‘Khiladi ‘ entertained the cast of “Cuttputlli” as he presented an intriguing bet during an event of cricket.
The player chose to engage in cricket in an unusual way because he had a unique bet with the other players that whoever took his wicket will receive a gift from him.
When asked about the incident, director Ranjit Tewari said, “It’s a lot of fun to shoot with Akshay sir.He keeps the crew entertained.Sometimes he played the game of housie with the crew in addition to playing cricket.Whoever won was always rewarded by Akshay sir.”
He said: “This clearly gave rise to an abundance of competition because everybody wanted to be the winner.This kept the crew focused and it also changed the entire atmosphere at the location.”
For ‘Cuttputlli’ the film that follows the bloody chase of the serial killer who is deranged and also stars Rakul Preet Singh.It was made by Vashu Bhagnani and Jackky Bhagnani, Deepshikha Deshmukh and Pooja Entertainment.
The film will take the direct-to-digital route , and will be released through Disney+ Hotstar on September 2.
