Chennai 20th August : Actor Nikhil Siddhartha, who is at the top of his game because of his film’Karthikeya 2′ that is turning out to be a huge success, is predicting that there’ll be additional installments of the franchise that is becoming extremely popular.In response to a query from IANS on whether there would be a third installment in the series, Nikhil said: “Yes because we have characters like Dr.Karthik who is hell determined to uncover exciting mysteries and having fun.There are a lot of untold tales of our culture’s heritage and we’ll return for a few more exciting episodes of Karthikeya.”
The actor who is stunned by the reaction to the film admitted that they didn’t expect this kind of response.Nikhil added: “This response was a surprise for the whole team.The way that shows were expanded across the board and people were able to fill theatres to capacity was truly amazing.We are deeply grateful to all who attended the theatres and backed our movie.”
“It began with a modest number of 40 screens in the Hindi belt.Today it is on more than 1,000 screens with more than three thousand shows.We anticipate an enthralling number of viewers on this Krishna Jamnashtami Weekend.”
What was the most challenging part of “Karthikeya 2′?” Nikhil stated: “As our movie is about the legacy of Bhagwan Sri Krishna we had a lot of responsibility and a challenge to do our research done and create an epic film that does justice to Sri Krishna’s awe.The film is an appreciation of the beauty of Indian heritage and puts some information out about our cultural beauty.”
