It was the longest running and most popular sitcom in Telugu.Amrutham had audience ranging from kids to senior citizens and has always been No.1 when it was broadcast.And now that sitcom is being made in to a movie.
Gunnam Gangaraju, the producer of the sitcom is now directing the film.
The movie titled Chandamama lo Amrutham had already completed its shooting and is currently in post production phase.
Almost one-third of the film is set in the moon and close to 44 minutes in the film is set in space, apart from 19 minutes of mind boggling computer graphics.The makers are planning to release the movie in the third week of December.
