The city has been under the protection of Section 144 since November 24, and it will remain in effect until January 21, 2019.

Chaudhuri stated that “Earlier, administration refused permission due to communal harmony in the City.

They claim it will violate Covid norms. They are making a bunch of excuses.

Now, Mahasabha announced it will launch a “referendum” for the construction of Krishna Janmabhoomi’s temple in Kurukshetra from Jan 26.This is the same land Krishna delivered ‘Gita’ sermons to Arjun.

This is the second time in less than two weeks that the Mathura administration has stopped the Mahasabha from going ahead with their programme at the Shahi Idgah.

The outfit had earlier announced it would install Krishna’s idol at the Shahi Idgah on December 6.
