Some devotees, when they know what kind of meritorious result they get from worshiping any deity, are sure to do only that pooja and get the result quickly.The fourteenth chapter of the Vidyeshwara Samhita of the Shiva Maha Purana deals with such matters.
There are five types of worship for the love of the deities.Samaradhana is the stage from the idol of God.Worship has to be done to each deity every week during the seven weeks we have.Saturday means Kaliyuga deity is dear to Venkateswara.
Similarly, it is better to worship the deities of Shani.Worship of Rudradi deities on Saturday is good.Those who want to escape from death.
Anadu should go home with you and donate sesame.Doing so will bring good health to the worshiper.Shani Dosha worship can also be done.
This week symbolizes that Lord Shiva considers the happiness of the deities as his happiness.
In the beginning of creation, Lord Shiva bestowed both the virtues of sin for the development of the three worlds.
One should know from the elders or gurus that what one is doing is a sin and one should give up those sinful deeds and strive for the attainment of virtue.
It was in this order that pujas were formed to avoid some of the diseases and hardships that followed the karma.
