Mumbai 11th September : Music composer duo Sachin and Jigar, who starred in the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s ‘Shuddh Romance’, said it was an enjoyable work experience with Yash Raj Films on the romantic comedy with an extensive range of songs. “Shuddh Desi Romance” has been running for 9 years of its release in Hindi cinema.
The film received praise from the critics and the ensemble of Sushant, Parineeti Chopra and Vaani Kapoor were praised for their performances.
The music composers duo Sachin Sanghvi and Jigar Saraiya, also known as Sachin-Jigar, composed music to the film, and they remember having been an integral part of the production.
Sachin told us: “It was a very satisfying and overwhelming experience to work with Yash Raj Films on this romantic comedy, where there is a huge category of songs.It was an amazing experience to study the music while considering the essence of the region, particularly because a significant part of the story was shot in Rajasthan.”
It features some stunning tracks like ‘Tere Meebeech Mein’, ‘Gulabi’ as well as the song that plays the title.The final success of the film is mostly based on its outside of the box plot and its departure of the typical Bollywood type romances.
touching on more relevant issues like live-in relationships and the significance of marriage and commitment especially for younger generations.
