San Francisco, Aug 29 : Tech giant Google has announced that users of Meet are soon able unmute themselves by pressing the spacebar and then silence themselves by release it.The company stated that it will allow users to take part in their meetings , by simply switching off muting to speak.
“This feature can also be helpful in situations that you do not remember to mute after you have unmuted yourself.This feature is turned off by default, but it is able to be enabled in the Google Meet settings,” Google said in a blog post.
Google has said it has altered the method by which the “Hey Google” voice control functions for Google Meet hardware devices.
This update will ensure that Google Assistant will only be active when a device isn’t in an event or within 10 minutes of an scheduled meeting, Google stated.
Google has also introduced an innovative feature that allows users to build high-performance custom applications that work with built-in formulas in Sheets.
Google has announced that users can now utilize visitor sharing to permit non-Google users to upload files or content in shared drives that are owned by companies and users of Google Workspace.
