New Delhi, Aug 26 : Fliers got nostalgic when Jet Airways said that the airline will return in the near future with its Imli Candy.Jet Airways is set to begin operations in the coming days , and the first group of skilled cabin staff have begun their training for service.
The airline has announced on social media site Twitter that its customers’ favorite Imli candy is set to return after the airline has taken off operations.
“It certainly is! Your most loved ‘imli’ candy will be back soon on every Jet Airways flights! Tell us your ‘imli-candy’ story?” said the airline.
Many fliers talked about their previous experiences with Jet Airways and Imli Candy.Kabir Goswami said: “We nostalgically remember how me and my sister would always insist on our parents to make reservations a flight on Jet Airways on any trip just for the cool JetKids toys.We must continue with the tradition for the next generation.”
Viney Kaushal commented: “Some preferred you only for these delicious candies, however, they were originally offered by Indian Airline flights.”
In response to this, Jet Airways CEO Sanjiv Kapoor stated: “Actually Jet was the first airline with Imli candy.”
Aujwalya Jyotozit discussed the pending refund, saying: “Imli candy is ok.But , please try to pay the amount first which I have never taken an air flight.”
Premankur Deb shared his photo and wrote: “Photo is back in the year 2010.We were traveling in Jet Airways B777 Dreamliner from Mumbai to Heathrow.And the imli candy was my all-time most loved in Jet flights.Most of my colleagues in cabin crew and me at that time are attracted of collecting imli candy for the crew.”
Anirrban Ghosh wrote: “I love everything about you guys.From the lights in the cabin, the staff and food.Simply amazing.Come back fast, yaar.”
