Bijnor, UP : , November 18 : .The Ganga Snan Fair in Bijnor has been attracting headlines for a bizarre reason.Uttar Pradesh Police has set up a stall displaying weaponry such as Insas rifles, AK-47s, and pump-action guns at the fair.This is a popular religious attraction that draws thousands.
People who come to the Ganga for the holy dip have made the police stall a focal point of their attraction.Official estimates say that five million people will gather at this location.
SP (Bijnor), Dharmveer Singh stated, “We took a page from the Indian Army and organized this exhibition.” This display of standard-issue police weapons will increase public confidence and instill fear among criminals.
After the opening on Wednesday, hundreds of people have visited the exhibit and attempted to make weapons.
The SP stated that they were able to understand how these weapons are used in various operations and also gave them information on the safety-related initiatives of our department.
This four-day event will conclude at sunset on November 19.
