By Archana Sharma Jaipur : , Nov 18, 2018 : .In the wake of reports that factionalism is hampering Rajasthan’s prospects, Amit Shah and JP Nadda, senior BJP officials, will travel to the desert state over the course of one month.
According to party sources, JP Nadda, the BJP’s national president will be attending the meeting of the state executive committee in Jaipur in the first week in December.
According to sources, Amit Shah, Union home minister, could be present at this meeting.
This is because the senior leaders want to consolidate the organization, which currently seems fractured into several groups.
Party workers confirmed that the central leadership of the party’s saffron is ready to take control.
Recent defeat of the party in by-polls for two seats, where it had candidates who ranked fourth and third in the total tally.
The supporters of Vasundhara Raje, former Chief Minister, began to demand that Raje be named the next CM candidate at the Assembly polls.
These men hail from Hadoti, also known as Raje’s territory.
Arun Singh, BJP’s state in-charge will make a two day visit to Hadoti on Saturday and Sunday to get grassroots feedback about the current party situation.
Raje holds a stronghold within this region, and party workers in the area support Raje and are vocal critics of the current party leadership.
Singh condemned these statements recently and stated that they were harmful for the party.
According to sources, the party seems eager to get a new start in the coming Assembly elections in 2023.The central leadership will therefore be pitching in for strengthening the organization.
