With many big-budget and highly anticipated films of noted Bollywood stars like ‘Laxmmi Bomb’, ‘Sadak 2’, ‘Bhuj’, ‘The Big Bull’ are all skipping theatrical releases and are heading for a direct online release, here comes another noted film from a young actor which is joining the list.
It is being reported that Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan starrer ‘Coolie No.1’ which is supposed to hit the screens in the second half of 2020, will also skip its theatrical release and witness a digital release on Amazon Prime in the next month.
‘Coolie No.1’ is the remake of the 1994 cult film by the same name starring Govinda and Karisma Kapoor.This remake is directed by Varun’s father and well known filmmaker David Dhawan.
