San Francisco, Aug 31 : As the tech giant Apple is set to reveal its next-generation iPhones, a recent report suggests that iPhone 14 Pro models will have an ultra-wide camera.According to analyst Ming-Chi Kwuo the new ultra-wide camera with more sensors for increased sensitivity to low light will be offered in the iPhone 14 series Pro models however, it will cost more expensive.
“I believe that two iPhone 14 Pro models’ ultra-wide cameras will be upgraded to 1.4Aum (vs.iPhone 13 Pro’s 1.0Aum).CCIS (CMOS image sensor), VCM (voice coil motor) as well as CCM (compact camera module) will see a significant price hike in the upcoming upgrade with around 70 per percent, 45 per cent and 40 percent,” Kuo wrote on Twitter.
“Other components Price increases for other components are not significant.
Sony (CIS), Minebea (first VCM supplier), Largan (second supplier) and LG Innotek (CCM) are the major recipients of the upgrade to ultra-wide cameras” it said.
Recently, Kuo said that iPhone 14 could be coming with the long-rumored satellite communication feature, which could be utilized in situations of emergency for voice or text messaging.
The company’s most prestigious event to launch its new products this year will be on Sept.7.
The new iPhone 14, to be manufactured in India about two months following its China production will have four models – the 6.1-inch iPhone 14, a new 6.7-inch iPhone 14, a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro and a 6.7 iPhone 14 Pro Max According to reports.
