The Telangana state IT and communications department has decided to make Telangana the number one destination for space technology worldwide.In this context, the Telangana SpaceTech Policy Framework has already been formulated with the participation of relevant industries and educational institutions.

Hyderabad has been already a key hub for space technology operations.About 30 per cent of the components in the Mars Orbiter mission are made in the state.
In this context, the Telangana state government hopes that the state technology policy will yield the expected results in the coming days.
The state government hopes to achieve the objectives of promoting business, trade development, manufacturing, making it a testing ground for remote sensing applications, and inviting investments and partners around the world.
