Bollywood news is buzzing with updates on Kartik Aaryan and Kabir Khan’s upcoming movie, “Chandu Champion.” Recently, it was confirmed that Shraddha Kapoor has been chosen to play the female lead in the film.A reliable source revealed that Shraddha has officially signed the project and is excited about it.The producers, Sajid Nadiadwala and Kabir Khan, had been searching for a leading lady and were keen on having Shraddha Kapoor on board.Currently, Sajid and Shraddha are in discussions and working out the details.
Interestingly, this will be the first time Kartik and Shraddha will share the screen together.
They previously appeared in Luv Ranjan’s film, “Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar,” where Kartik made a cameo appearance.Apart from “Chandu Champion,” Shraddha has several other projects lined up, including “Stree 2.”
Speaking about “Chandu Champion,” the film is set to release on June 14, 2024.It is a sports biopic based on the life of Murlikant Petkar, who achieved remarkable success by winning a Gold Medal at the 1970 Commonwealth Games and the Paralympics in Germany in 1972.
The project caught the attention of Sushant Singh Rajput back in 2016 when he was deeply moved by the narration of the story.
