As the story which was picturized by the director needs many characters, both producer and director went for huge star casting.Popular actors and actress like Prakash raj, Rajendra Prasad, Upendra, Sneha, Brahmanandam were taken to act in this film.
As a result to these factors, budget of this film got increased and reached up to 50crores.Even then, producer managed to get in to profits by different means like satellite, Audio rights and sponserers etc….
But the distributers who got the film huge prices failed to get back the money from the audience which they invested believing the combination.Son Of Satyamurthy business has come to clos and few distributers has to face losses in the end.So, S/o Satyamurthy is a profitable venture to Producer and a Loss venture to many distributers.
