Kolkata 8 September : In announcing the answer on the reasons she chose to miss the unveiling of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s statue on the Indian Gate canopy in Delhi on Thursday, West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee claimed that the invitation she was sent was not appropriate.
“A letter, possibly composed by an under secretary arrived at my office on Wednesday.

The letter was stated that the Prime Minister would reveal the statue by 7 pm on Thursday, and I must arrive at 6 pm.Do they believe that I are their servant or bonded labor?

“How does an under-secretary draft such an address to the Chief Minister of the state? The letter at the very least should have been written by a Union minister.So, I erected Netaji’s statue in Kolkata this morning, and only,” Banerjee said at an event of Trinamool Congress workers and leaders at the Netaji Indoor stadium here on Thursday.

She also informed us that Chief Secretary H.K.Dwivedi has already responded to the request on this issue.

The Hologram statue of Netaji was officially inaugurated by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the 23rd of January this year.Although it was initially planned that the granite statue would be revealed on August 15 this year, it didn’t take place.
