Finance Minister Buggana Rajendranath Reddy will present the budget in the Assembly shortly.Deputy CM Budget Pushpashree Vani will introduce the budget in the Legislature.
Minister Kannababu will present the agriculture budget in the assembly at 11 am.Minister Sidiri Appalaraju will introduce it in the council.The cabinet has already approved the state budget.It seems that the budget has been prepared with an estimate of around Rs 2 lakh 60,000 crore.
Information that a large plateau has been laid in the budget for the agricultural, educational and medical health sectors.For the second year in a row, a gender budget will be introduced with a focus on women’s empowerment.
Budget allocations will be made specifically for women and children.
It also seems that high priority has been given to welfare schemes being implemented under the name of Navratnas.
It is learned that over Rs 18,000 crore has been earmarked for the gift of YSR pensions alone.As well as news coming in that agriculture, education, medicine, welfare, housing for the poor have been given priority.
It is learned that a large plateau for farmers – especially the agriculture budget – has been prepared with Rs 40,000 crore.
The government, which has given priority to the creation of infrastructure in the education and medical sectors, seems to have made allocations for the construction of new medical colleges.
In addition, information will be provided on infrastructure projects such as irrigation projects and roads.
Finance Minister Bugna Rajendranath Reddy has said that the budget will include higher allocations for agriculture, women’s welfare, education and medicine.
He said that priority was given to Navratna schemes and the budget was designed to fulfill the promises made by CM Jagan to the people.
