Tamil actor and Superstar Rajinikanths participation in NTRs centenary celebrations in Vijayawada on Friday has drawn criticism from the ruling YSR Congress Party (YCP) in Andhra Pradesh.
YCP leader and former minister Kodali Nani who is largely known for using abusive language has made derogatory comments on Rajinikanths status, heath and his physical personality too which seems very harsh.
Kodali Nani came heavily lashing out at the actor in a press meet on Saturday.Nani questioned Rajinikanths support for Chandrababu Naidu over his ruling and vision, citing past incidents such as the throwing of slippers at NTR at the Viceroys Hotel.
He used foulest words like – “నువ్వు తమిళనాడులో స్టార్ కావచ్చు ఏపీ మాత్రo నువ్వు సున్నా”, “చీకేసిన తాటికాయ ముఖం వేసుకొని వచ్చి సొల్లు కబుర్లు చెబితే వినేవాడు ఎవడు లేడు ఇక్కడ”, “మూడు రోజులు షూటింగ్, నాలుగు రోజులు హాస్పిటల్ రజనీకాంత్”, etc.This statement which is shameful to translate shows how insensitive is Nani even to mock Rajinikanth’s hospitalization.Nani faulted Rajinikanth for praising Chandrababu and stated that it was a shame for him to do so, given Chandrababus alleged cheating of late NTR on his last political days.
He also criticized Rajinikanth for supporting Chandrababu at the Viceroy Hotel while heaping praise on late NTR, calling him Yuga Purush.Nani concluded by saying that while Rajinikanth may be a hero in Tamil Nadu, he is a zero in Andhra Pradesh.
YSR Congress leaders can ignore Rajinikanth or condemn his statement using better words. For sure Kodali Nani must face the heat of Superstar Rajinikanths fans for his statements.
