Telugu movie “Lion”, which happens to be Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 98th film, has opened to an overwhelming response at box offices worldwide on Thursday.“Lion” was released in 650 cinema halls in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and around 350 screens in other parts of India and international markets on 14 May.
The film collected 5.5 crores on Day 1 at AP/Nizam BO.Lion opened to mixed response and got a divided talk but it has not showed effect on Day 1 collections.The cine pundits predict that this momentum will continue at least till the coming Tuesday and that is sufficient for the film to get into profit zone.For Break-Even, ‘Lion’ has to collect more than Rs 25 crore
