Actress Adah Sharma, famous for her role in The Kerala Story, has been admitted to the hospital due to severe diarrhea and a food allergy.The news came out on Wednesday, and her health has been closely monitored.
Adah was eagerly waiting for the release of Commando, a spin-off series from the action film franchise, which was scheduled for this month.Her condition worsened on Wednesday morning, leading to her immediate hospitalization.
The actor, who was preparing for Commando promotions, started vomiting and was diagnosed with severe diarrhea and food allergy.
A source close to Adah revealed, “She experienced a burst of stress hives and diarrhea this morning.She is currently under observation.” Fans are worried after knowing their favourite actress has been hospitalized.In Commando, Adah plays Bhavana Reddy, linking the film and the series.
She will star alongside newcomer Prem in the series, which is set to be released on August 11.Other cast members include Amit Sial, Tigmanshu Dhulia, Shreya Chaudhary, and Manini Chaddha.
Talking about her character, Adah said, “I’ve portrayed Bhavana Reddy in Commando 2 and 3.Wherever there’s a Commando being made in the world, Bhavana Reddy will be there, even if it’s just for a few seconds.She’s the connecting factor between the OTT commando and the film.” Besides her acting, Adah was last seen in Sudipto Sen’s The Kerala Story, which had a budget of Rs.40 crore and grossed over Rs.300 crore in domestic and overseas collections.The film faced controversy due to its trailer, which initially claimed that over 32000 women from Kerala were forced to convert to Islam and join ISIS.
The trailer was later modified, stating it as the story of three women from Kerala.
