The new development is in the wake of different political parties of the state, including the Janata Dal-United ruling party and the Rashtriya Janata Dal, the Congress, HAM and left parties holding separate sessions on Tuesday.

JD-U National President Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh confirms that his party has invited every MLA, MLC, and MPs to participate in the meeting scheduled for Tuesday.

In his statement, he said that a meeting was held to discuss the plan of action if the situation is caused by the departure of R.C.P.Singh.

The reason, however, does appear to be solid given that other political parties have been doing similar things in Patna this Tuesday.

The BJP however, stated that there was nothing to worry about.

The state unit’s head Sanjay Jaiswal said: “Every party has gatherings of its legislators. There was nothing extraordinary in it.We also did this on July 31st.As of now the NDA government is in good order under the direction of Nitish Kumar in Bihar.”

State JD-U President Umesh Kushawaha also said: “The government is functioning smoothly under the direction of Nitish Kumar in Bihar. We are not in any disagreement with BJP currently.”

However, this seems to be in line with the situation in 2017.In 2017, JD-U leaders claimed that everything was fine with the Mahagathbandhan (with the RJD and the Congress) up to the very last minute.

In the end, Nitish Kumar went to Raj Bhawan and gave his resignation as the Chief Minister of Bihar. He also suggested that the Governor disband the Assembly.

But this time things have changed, and Nitish Kumar would advise the Governor to remove certain ministers in his cabinet.

An JD-U insider believes there are many reasons to improve relationships between his party and BJP.One of the main reasons is the declaration of BJP head J.P.Nadda who said on July 31 that he is determined to eliminate all regional parties from the country. His targets were the RJD, JD-U, the Trinamool Congress, the Samajwadi Party and the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Thackeray group) and the Shiromani Akali Dal, Dusyant Chautala’s political party JJP and others.

This could have prompted the JD-U to think about breaking its alliance with the BJP.The BJP’s ‘Prawas’ program in 200 Assembly constituencies was viewed as an attack on the JD-U.
