Los Angeles, Aug 8 : Singer Shawn Mendes had an absolute celebration on his 24th birthday.The Grammy Award nominee, who became a year older on Monday celebrated his birthday celebration at an Nightclub in Miami.Mendes enjoyed the “amazing time” having a blast with the “Blinding Lights” hitmaker The Weeknd at the time of the Dawn FM artist’s surprise performance in ‘People’ magazine, according to the report.
“Shawn was in incredible good spirits,” a source told People, saying that he “looked super happy to be there, relaxed and enjoying the surroundings”.
He was hanging out with his friends in the DJ booth until The Weeknd 32nd birthday arrived and during which he along with DJ Kaytranada joined The Weeknd on stage.
Mendes was also seen showing his body as he took to the beach in his set of red swimming trunks.
He posted photos on Instagram of himself enjoying some sun with his friends at the back of an yacht.
“People” further states that the ‘The Wonder’ artist recently canceled his tour to reset himself and concentrate on his mental health in the month of October, shortly after he had postponed three weeks of shows.
“It is becoming more apparent that I have to take the time I’ve never taken to myself to get grounded and re-energize myself,” he wrote in an article that was read by the name ‘People’.
“I regretfully have to cancel the remaining of the dates of the tour in North America, and Europe and the UK.”
“We were hoping that I would be able to catch up with the remainder of the dates following some much-needed time off however at the moment I must put my health as my primary concern.But that doesn’t mean I won’t continue to create new music and I’m excited to see you perform on tour in the near future,” Mendes added.
