Hyderabad 6 August : Telangana BJP chief Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Saturday claimed the Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao has no moral courage to confront the prime minister Narendra Modi and hence he has decided to boycott the NITI Aayog meeting with lame-duck excuses.Sanjay attacked KCR for remarks he made during the press conference.He said that if the chief minister really was concerned about the state, he could have raised the issue at the time of the meeting.
He said that KCR’s decision not attend the meeting was disrespecting the democratic institutions.
Sanjay said KCR has never shown interest in attending official meetings over the past eight years.
The BJP leader also said that the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) president travels to Delhi to gain political advantage and to meet the leaders of political parties, but did not visit for the benefit of the people.
“KCR claims that he is not attending the NITI Aayog meeting but the days aren’t far away when the people of Telangana will protest against KCR,” he said.
In response to KCR’s remarks Sanjay said that the chief minister was delivering a lecture about the past of Planning Commission, co-operative federalism, and democratic spirit but not fulfilling his duties.
In a statement, he said there was an insufficient number of teachers in the institutions of education in Telangana, he advised the KCR to go to Telangana to deliver a lecture in Telangana on the ways he failed as chief minister.
The BJP leader said prior to talking about the NPAs of companies in the country, KCR should explain why industries are shutting down in Hyderabad.
He declared that it was ironic the chief minister was talking of imports from different nations while his government is unable to manufacture Bathukamma sarees in Telangana and is procuring similar items from Surat.
Bandi Sanjay was also interested find out the reason KCR brought furniture for the Pragati Bhavan (official residence of Chief Minister) from China.
The BJP leader claimed that KCR is the cause of suicides of farmers, weavers intermediate students, employees and unemployed The BJP leader declared it a shameful act that he is slamming the Centre.
Sanjay also mentioned KCR’s comment that he was in Delhi for five days and then compelled the Centre to let the state to take on debt of 10000 crore rupees.
“KCR stated that in the previous year the Centre did not contribute more than Rs 5,000 crore to the government.
If the Centre did not provide the funds in the first place, what was he doing for a year,” he asked
The BJP state chief also demanded whether KCR apologize in Assembly if it is proven that the Centre gave more than 5 crore.
Sanjay said that NITI Aayog doesn’t exclusively work for KCR and provides strategic recommendations on issues of policy to ensure that the economy is strong.
