Thiruvananthapuram on August 6 : The Kerala government is looking at reshuffle some portfolios of CPI-M ministers with the state Education Minister V.Sivankutty caught in legal trouble over vandalizing the state Assembly in 2015, is likely to quit according to sources.According to sources, in order to ensure Sivankutty’s honorable departure Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan is granting him a key post in the party, leading to the reshuffle of portfolios.
Replacing Sivankutty as Minister is Varkala CPI-M legislator for the assembly constituency V.Joy.
Sivankutty Sivankutty, along with five of the top leaders were asked to appear in the courtroom on the 14th of September in the context with the case.On that day, their charge sheets will be presented, according to according to a source in the know of things that were said.

Sivankutty will replace the incumbent Thiruvananthapuram district secretary for CPI-M Anavoor Nagappan, who was an unexpected choice for the state secretariat of the party after it was reconstituted and, consequently, he has been sacked.
