Abu Dhabi, November 22nd : .The Deccan Gladiators won a huge victory against the Delhi Bulls.
They chased down an impressive total of 112 runs in Abu Dhabi T10.The Gladiators beat the Bulls with their first batsmen Tom Kohler–Cadmore (51/from 19 balls) and Tom Banton (42/from 21 balls), winning the match by 100 runs each in just 6.3 overs.Kohler-Cadmore was in top form as he crushed Adil Rashid with four sixes during the third over.
Banton was able to provide support at the other end, as he hit Dwayne Bravo twice in the sixth over.Banton was dismissed by Dominic Drakes in the seventh over.
However, Andre Russell entered the fray and scored two boundaries against Dwayne Bravo’s bowling.
Rilee Rosouw and Rahmanullah Gurbaz were the ideal impetus for Delhi Bulls at the top, as they hit two sixes in one over and four runs off Odean Smith’s bowling.
Rossouw continued to send the ball towards the boundary but he was losing his partners.He struck 4 fours and 6 sixes to take the score of Delhi Bulls to 101/7 in 8.4 runs before Tymal Mills dismissed him for 48 runs.
With figures of 3/17, Andre Russell was the top pick among the Deccan Gladiators’ bowlers.
With the pick of Fazalhaq Farooqi, Dominic Drakes and Captain Dwayne Bravo wickets taken, the West Indian put immense pressure on Delhi Bulls’ batting lineup.Two run-outs were scored by the Deccan Gladiators as Delhi Bulls were bowled out by them for 112 runs.
