Singapore, November 20, 2018 : .Singapore has reported 1931, or 5%, of Covid-19 cases on Saturday.
This brings the total to 250,518.According to Xinhua, the Ministry of Health (MOH), 1,867 of the cases were found in the community.58 of them were in migrant worker dormitories.Six were imported.
There are 1,367 Covid-19 patients currently being warded at hospitals.Among them, 199 require oxygen supplementation on the general ward; 40 of these cases are unstable and need to be closely monitored in ICUs.60 Covid-19 cases have been admitted and are being intubated in ICUs.
Current ICU utilization rate stands at 56.8%
The ministry reported that 13 more people have succumbed to complications from Covid-19 infections in Southeast Asia, raising the total number of deaths to 654.
On Saturday, the MOH announced that Singapore would further reduce its Safe Management Measures for community members in a carefully planned and measured manner.
The No.22 the country will raise the number of dine-in groups from 2 to 5 persons regardless of whether they are members from the same household.
It will also extend the Vaccination-Differentiated Safe Management Measures to protect the unvaccinated from getting infected and becoming severely ill.
Singapore’s booster vaccination program will be accelerated to increase protection and reduce community burdens.
