Singapore, November 19, : , Ritu Phogat is a finalist in the ONE Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix.She said she could see fear in Stamp Fairtex’s eyes.Ritu and Stamp will face off at the Women’s Atomweight World Grand Prix Championship Finale at ONE: Winter Warriors, December 3, in Singapore.
Two ONE W’men’s Atomweight World Grand Prix finalist sat down for about a minute.
The tension was high, and the intense staredown between them was quite intense.
Ritu said that she felt a little hesitation from Stamp, the ex-ONE Atomweight Muay Thai Champion and Kickboxing World Champion.
“It’s true.It was true.
I believed she would be afraid of me.However, I realized that my fears were fading when we met during the staredown.Ritu said that she saw fear in Ritu’s eyes and didn’t blame her for afraid of me.
She has seen my stand-up skills and wrestling prowess from close quarters, so if I were in her shoes I’d be scared too.She tried to be brave for her fans, and I have to give her that credit.But, I was able to see through her facade.”
Ritu is the fourth-ranked Atomweight in this division.Stamp is at the second place on the list.
He has enjoyed immense success since signing up for the ONE Championship in 2018.
