We’ll punish those involved: K’taka CM on Bitcoin fraud

Bengaluru, Nov 14, : Chief Minister Basavaraj Bhommai of Karnataka announced Sunday that "we will crackdown against those involved in Bitcoin scandal".

Bommai spoke to mediapersons following the pay tributes to Jawaharlal Naehru, late Prime Minister Jawaharlal, on his birth anniversary.He said that it was impossible to spare anyone involved "Our government is open on this issue."Our government is open to this issue.

We are the one who exposed this case.This case was exposed by us.It is our government which recommended the ED and CBI to probe the case.Our government recommended that the ED and CBI investigate the case.

The ED is conducting the probe and the CBI has taken it to Interpol as well.The ED has launched the investigation and the CBI is referring it to Interpol.

All the necessary information has been provided for these agencies," he said.He stated that all the information required for these agencies has been received.

" If those involved are found to have perpetrated any fraud on the interests of the country, state or any individuals "we will act mercilessly against them", Bommai asserted.Bommai stated that if anyone is found guilty of fraud against the national, state or individual interests, "we will be mercilessly against them.
