The TRS government is firing on the BJP government for not buying the grain center harvested in Telangana.TRS leaders say they will decide in the national capital, Delhi, whether farmers in Telangana will grow and buy rice.
It is well known that northern farmers have been campaigning for over a year demanding the repeal of agricultural laws.The TRS government is all set to launch a similar movement in Delhi to bring pressure on the BJP government.
Already the TRS is continuing to raise concerns over the attitude of the central government.The TRS government has also passed resolutions at the village and zonal level to buy Yasangi grain across the state.
In a row, Telangana ministers have been holding a series of media conferences and criticizing the BJP.As part of this, Minister Niranjan Reddy said that Union Minister Piyush Goyal was insulting the people of Telangana when asked to buy the grain harvested by Telangana farmers.
However, the Telangana state government is trying to persuade the Center to buy grain within a few days.However, due to the Centre’s arbitrary decisions and discrimination against Telangana, the efforts made so far by Telangana ministers have failed.
The Telangana ministers also want to bring the issue of grain procurement to the attention of the Prime Minister, including the Union Ministers.However, if the center does not take a decision within Ugadi, Telangana farmers will be harmed.
